A few flaws, but overall, I love it.

The only things that bother me about this game are as follows:

The slow gameplay - Having to watch each and every reaction is one thing. But having to rewatch them if you use the same items got boring fast. Maybe a skip button during reactions you've gotten before?

The screen - I own a netbook, and the screen is hardly netbook friends, being longer uop and down than my actual screen was, even on fullscreen. I'd opt for a wider presentation rather than a taller one.

Aside from those, this is a great game for a zombie lover as myself, and I enjoyed getting to screw around with a zombie's psyche. Heavy kudos for the originality.

Evil-Dog responds:

well it's also a game on mobiles so the tall resolution is optimal and if you can't view a 600 pixel high game, you have a bit of a problem I'd say.

Amazing game!

Who knew I'd kill so many hours with a single flash game? Something like this almost demands a console release of some sort. If N can do it, Epic Battle Fantasy can too! The gameplay was addictive, and I adore the AP system. I loved the quirky dialogue - it had me in tears at some points. And, of course, the classic Pervert medal was to be obtained. The music was flawless, as were the cutscenes and attack graphics.

My only complaint is one that drove me absolutely bonkers, and nearly caused me to ragethrow my laptop into the wall and punch my infant sibling in the face - The Ruin Raider minigame. While it was fun, getting the medal was, and is, the most frustrating thing I've ever attempted in my life. I've beaten Epic mode easier than I got even close to getting the 230 points medal, which I've yet to even break 200 points on, let alone achieve. It seemed like the skeletons didn't always react to being hit, making me wonder if there's a slight bug. Also, it seemed like the items dropped by them fell from the sides of the screen, causing you to lose a ton of points. The fact that NoLegs slides after jumping didn't help anything either. If this could be made easier, say.. a 200 or 210 point medal, I probably wouldn't need to invest in a new laptop and carpal tunnel surgery. ..Okay, maybe that's a little extreme, but Christ that medal's easily the toughest one to obtain on Newgrounds, in my honest opinion. And with it being from a Minigame.. I'm not sure whether to think positively or negatively on it.

All in all, I'm absolutely stoked for a 4th installment, and I sincerely hope you get the ability to make a full console game in the future, be it an RPG like this game, or a shooter like Bullet Heaven. This series is top notch, and I implore you to keep up the great work.

Absolutely perfect.

Enough said. The only thing I could possibly ask for is more levels, or better yet.. another sequel! The graphics are 16-bit in all its glory. The music was a little repetetive, but it never really felt out of place. The gameplay, the mix of the WASD and mouse, as well as the options for full keyboard controls all functioned smoothly and easily. The bosses ranged from easy to absolutely insane. Not one boss was beaten without dying at least once. The minigames are just as addictive as the story itself, and boss rush is quite the challenge. Plus, my favorite - there are plenty of medals to achieve.

Bravo.

Best game on Newgrounds

Hands down.

However, I am getting frustrated at trying to beat it in 60 minutes. Each of my playtimes have rounded out to about 2 hours.

ANYWAYS. Beautiful graphics, gameplay worth going through over and over, tons of medals, and NUKES AND LIGHTNING. There's no way this game could be made better.

One MAJOR flaw?

Losing all of your cash when you lose a life.

I made it to 13,400 when I died, so close to the 15k medal, and my jaw dropped when I realized I had to do it all over again. I refuse to try again.

Beautiful.

I love dark games like this. They're a genre of their own, and always challenging. My only complain is in regards to the controls. Just a simple tweak to using WASD instead of the arrow keys would do wonders, especially working with the mouse.

thank you friend, I will correct this error
Greetings from INSANELAND and happy Halloween

Other than a few problems with medals...

I achieved a few of the medals, mainly the Quantum Ninja and Combo Devil medals, the screen said I achieved them and everything, but when i left the game and came back to play more, I only had the Pyromaniac medal for beating story mode.

Otherwise, this game is incredibly fun on all levels. There was also another bug though, where if I spam attacked too often, the guy would freeze, and every time I pressed attack again, you'd get the sound effect but no attack. It always fixed through pausing, but I thought I'd let you know.

Keep up the good work.. with a sequel!!

Fun!

I always love a good pixelated beat em up. Very quality, and really tough starting around the third night.

The constant ads killed it for me.

Everything about this game is fairly decent, except the battle system. It got tedious.

But what killed it for me were the advertisements that popped up mid game. I got three before I quit. The one before the game starts was more than enough. If it's found to be just a bug, I'd change my score.

I'm going to be completely honest.

I absolutely despise when people try to take someone else's series of games and make their own version of it. It almost NEVER turns out well. The gameplay is absolutely boring, the helicopter is beyond difficult to control [I found that going in and out of the safe zone was effective if timed right], the music.. I just turned it off. It was also irritating that you didn't go right back to the game when you hit Replay, instead going all the way back to the beginning and having to deal with the loading screens over and over. That killed whatever replay value this game had before, which wasn't much to begin with. The graphics are about the best quality this game has.

But seriously. Try to be a little creative and come up with your own ideas instead of trying to take someone else's popular idea and making it yourself. It almost never works, and this is a prime example.

You've got the tools to make a good game. You just need your own ideas.

Drawing and gaming are things I do a lot
