First off, I always give bonus points to games with medals. I like to encourage that.

Second, it's not a terribly designed game, but it's not really good either. I love the music, but the controls feel a little sloppy. I also didn't even realize you had such limited ammo until about my 3rd game over, and I was really confused about what could have hit me. It's a struggle getting those points, but it definitely adds replay value. It's a quirky little bit, and I like it.

Rixium responds:

Thanks for the feedback. I felt like too much ammo would have taken the challenge away, didn't want the heart showing up more than once.

It's funny, I was just thinking about this. The level requirements, how much EXP you need, all of that.

While it really is useful, I'm not sure I can consider it a game. However, I would certainly like keeping this around just as sort of a reference.

But real talk, are all of these true? If so, to get to Lv. 60, you have to get your 10 EXP every day for over a DECADE??? Good lord, Newgrounds.. that's understandable, but a bit excessive.

Cyberdevil responds:

Glad you liked it, it's definitely not a movie so it had to be sorted as a game. The Gadgets > Other category seemed fitting.

Yupp, the EXP requirements didn't change since the level redesign, so it's all correct. I've been checking different user accounts to make sure. If you look at the rankings you'll see all the top users (with lvl60) signed up around 2000. It's a long road. :)

Brilliant. Just.. brilliant. My only complains is the Trickers Mode medal. I can't seem to figure that one out.

I love this though! GIVE THAT YOSHI SACRIFICING BASTARD WHAT HE DESERVES

A/5

Listen2Reason responds:

Haha, thanks!

That last medal is a bit of an in-joke. For a hint, do a web search for the phrase "accessing trickster mode". ;)

Immediately, I came across a nasty bug - the head went to the top of the screen and the computer's paddle followed it, and the head got stuck in the paddle - this happened multiple times.

It's an interesting rendition of Pong, and, aside form the bug, it could be really enjoyable. I think we'd like to see a little more content though - maybe you could select a head from a number of choices (maybe pay an homage to your favorite Newgrounds characters, with permission of course, by putting their heads in your game) or something like that.

I'll give you three stars because I would like to keep it around, but for your next title, just take a chance! Maybe make a rendition of an old game you love and put your own spin, not on just the image, but also the actual gameplay itself. That would be real neat.

GimmeSumJava responds:

Thanks, I will try and fix that bug. Expect an update late tonight or early tomorrow.

Brilliant.

The concept itself is hardly original - running through a level as fast as possible while some large, ominous thing threatens to end you. Outrun it, and win.

However, how this game was made, with the custom character, the many different clothing items and eh gun.. oh, the GUNS. All of it makes this game not only highly original, but incredibly fun and entertaining.

Also, be it on purpose or be it coincidence, I sense the art style of Jhonen Vasquez in quite a few of the character's faces. Massive kudos for that. It looks great!

Joelasticot responds:

Yes, Jhonen Vasquez was a big inspiration to the artist for this game!

Original idea, poor delivery.

I love the idea of a supermarket cashier running through the store, blasting people with pricing lasers, and their attacks being stupid questions. However, it wasn't delivered well. It lacked any luster whatsoever, the sound effects and music were mediocre, and it was honestly just.. rather annoying to play.

I do give you major props on not only the idea, but for the 'fires everytime X is pressed' thing. I hate shmups that make you wait a certain amount of time before firing again.

Take this game back to the ol' drawing board, maybe get a few artistic and musical types to help you upgrade the music and graphics, add a storyline, and you'll definitely have something worth playing. Its good, it just needs to be polished up.. a lot.

XxfireBreatherxX responds:

Thx man I appreciate that. Yeah, I'm going to school for this so I'm trying to teach myself how this all works. All criticism is appreciated.

A few flaws, but overall, I love it.

The only things that bother me about this game are as follows:

The slow gameplay - Having to watch each and every reaction is one thing. But having to rewatch them if you use the same items got boring fast. Maybe a skip button during reactions you've gotten before?

The screen - I own a netbook, and the screen is hardly netbook friends, being longer uop and down than my actual screen was, even on fullscreen. I'd opt for a wider presentation rather than a taller one.

Aside from those, this is a great game for a zombie lover as myself, and I enjoyed getting to screw around with a zombie's psyche. Heavy kudos for the originality.

Evil-Dog responds:

well it's also a game on mobiles so the tall resolution is optimal and if you can't view a 600 pixel high game, you have a bit of a problem I'd say.

Beautiful.

I love dark games like this. They're a genre of their own, and always challenging. My only complain is in regards to the controls. Just a simple tweak to using WASD instead of the arrow keys would do wonders, especially working with the mouse.

NightDead responds:

thank you friend, I will correct this error
Greetings from INSANELAND and happy Halloween

Drawing and gaming are things I do a lot
